In Photos: Peggy's Cove, Canada

by Lindsay Shapka in

An impressive granite shore line, a storybook whitewashed lighthouse and a picture-perfect cluster of wharves, little houses and sheds greet visitors to Canada's best-known fishing village. Located 43 km west of Halifax, Nova Scotia, this village has been around since 1881 and has only 60 permanent residents(!). Though tourists flock to the site (it is the most visited spot in the Maritimes) there is no taking away from the picturesque charm of this gorgeous little cove!
