Real Life Van Gogh

Cafe in Paris, France

Though it is not the actual cafe pictured in Vincent van Gogh's Cafe Terrace at Night (that cafe, now known as Cafe Van Gogh, was known as Le Forum at the time of the painting) when I turned the corner from my hostel and found myself on this charming street, his painting was the first thing that popped into my head. Located in the heart of the university district, on the south side of the river, this street became filled with students, and those embracing the bohemian lifestyle, when the sun went down.
