It is election day in Canada. Whenever an election arises, be it national, provincial, or to elect a mayor, I can't help but think about all the men in women in this world who live in countries where they have zero say in their government. Or, if they do get to vote, it is corrupted, or all a facade. I know that I am incredibly lucky to live in a time and place where I get draw an 'x' in a box that supports the person that I want to protect my rights and freedoms.
