Fairytale Streets

There was something about the streets of Prague that made me feel like I was walking through a Grimm fairytale. Not a Disney-fied version, but the dark, gothic Grimm version. The buildings were just a bit too faded, a bit too close together, and a bit too tall. They seemed to lean in on the cobblestone streets letting only slivers of sunshine through at just the right times of day. It was like there was a history there that could only be felt, not seen. I loved it.
