Are you missing lounging on the beach, wandering through new cities, and exploring new places?
Me too.
Though we may be limited to where we can go right now because of COVID, that doesn’t mean that we can’t bring a little adventure into our homes!
This selection of art prints includes photographs and watercolors that are sure to brighten up your space and inspire you to dream about future travels.
Desert Travel Art
There’s just something about a cactus — especially a Joshua Tree. The photos below were all taken on a recent trip to the California desert and are available as prints in multiple sizes.
From top: Desert Vibes (Joshua Tree Desert Series), Joshua Trees (Joshua Tree Desert Series), Joshua Tree (Joshua Tree Desert Series), Desert Views (Joshua Tree Desert Series)
Beach Travel Art
From the desert to the beach (by far my favorite destination). Below you will find a mix of watercolor and photography prints perfect to add a little wanderlust to your gallery wall!
From left to right: Chilling In Paradise (Riding a boat in Vietnam), Mediterranean Harbour (Italian island towns), Wandering Down the Beach (Sandy strolls in Hawaii), Row Boat in Vietnam (Halong Bay boat seller)
Twilight in Halong Bay — this is one of my personal favorites. I have the largest size framed and sitting in a layered trio of prints on a low bookshelf in my living room — it looks great framed in black!
Catching Waves in Hawaii (Surfers walking down the beach after a morning in the ocean)
Top: Manhattan Beach, California (Lifeguard Tower), Beach Days (Suntanning under a bright blue umbrella)
Bottom: Low Tide in Thailand (Waiting for the fish to come in)
Sicilian Paradise (Rocky beach at the base of the cliffs of Taormina)
City Travel Art
Ahhh, the sights and textures of the city. This is just a glimpse of some of my watercolor pieces showing some iconic spots in some of the world’s most vibrant cities.
Top: Chinese Lanterns (at the market in Xian), Rooftops in York, UK (view from the top of the Cathedral)
Bottom: Seoul Grand Palace (historic palace in the center of Seoul, South Korea)
Morocco Travel Art
The architecture in Morocco is what dreams are made of, and that is what is conveyed in the two photographs below — both taken while on a drive into the Atlas Mountains.
Moroccan Dreams — I have the largest size of this print (22” x 28”) framed in my bedroom, so every morning I awake to this stunning view.
The Ancient City of Ait Benhaddou (the city featured in more movies than you can count)
